I really don’t like bananas soooo I used strawberries lool I got purple Oatmeal but it was good and sweet. This was great because I was looking for a way to cut out sugar from my diet.

Devyn – Feb. 10, 2022, 2:10 a.m.

This is the third oatmeal I tried from this website, and I LOVED it.
I didn’t have the yogurt or the butter for toppings, but I topped it with chopped coconut and chia seeds.

PUL Team – Feb. 10, 2022, 5:58 a.m.

Woop woop! So happy the oatmeals are being enjoyed, Devyn 😊

Nina Valeriano – Feb. 7, 2022, 5:56 p.m.

I make oatmeal all the time, but this one stands out!! I think the addition of frozen fruit give is a special sweet boost without being overwhelming. Super delish 😋

PUL Team – Feb. 8, 2022, 10:38 p.m.

So glad it’s being enjoyed, Nina, thank you!

Fortuna – Feb. 5, 2022, 2:34 p.m.

Amazing and testy breakfast.

Elyse – Jan. 26, 2022, 4:04 p.m.

Really tasty! I love the color that the blueberries almost immediately infuse the oatmeal with as it’s cooking. It’s something I never would have thought to do before seeing this recipe. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

PUL Team – Jan. 27, 2022, 7:03 p.m.

Woohoo! We’re beyond happy to hear, Elyse 🙂

Pearl – Jan. 26, 2022, 6:42 a.m.

This was great! I made a batch and portioned it for meal prep. As a busy college student, this is great to heat up in the morning and go! The color was not as vibrant since I used regular blueberries instead of wild ones, but the taste is light and delicate compared to the mocha oatmeal recipe. I used a splash of agave instead of maple syrup since the bananas sweetened the oatmeal. Thanks a TON, this is very tasty!!!

PUL Team – Jan. 27, 2022, 6:52 p.m.

So thrilled it was enjoyed, Pearl! Wishing you an abundance of wellness and success with your studies ❣️📚

Thien – Jan. 24, 2022, 2:22 a.m.

Wonderful recipe! I think another commenter did this too, but I just leave out the syrup and the banana makes it plenty sweet. I had never thought to serve oatmeal with yogurt before but it was delicious. Thank you for your creative recipes!

PUL Team – Jan. 26, 2022, 6:05 a.m.

Thanks a bunch for sharing your experience with the oatmeal, Thien!

Dee – Jan. 14, 2022, 6:14 a.m.

This is the best oatmeal ever. It’s so easy to make and so delicious. I was out of maple syrup so I added a few extra blueberry & topped it up with banana coins and raisins and it tasted appropriately sweet. Thank you PUL 🙂

PUL Team – Jan. 14, 2022, 5:21 p.m.

Mmm sounds delicious, Dee, thank you 😃

Annie Stover – Jan. 9, 2022, 5:52 p.m.

Wow! I have NEVER liked oatmeal in all my 45 years of life… until now. This recipe was unlike any oatmeal I have ever tasted. Excellent. I used walnuts on top as I was out of almonds. Also added only almond extract at the end. Delicious! Thank you for this recipe. I desperately need to add more plants and fiber to my diet for health reasons and breakfast was a real challenge. I will try the overnight oats next…

PUL Team – Jan. 10, 2022, 3:02 a.m.

Awe this is a massive compliment, Annie, thank you so much! We hope you enjoy the overnight oats 🤗

Gabrielle – Jan. 8, 2022, 8:30 p.m.

Jeanette – Jan. 8, 2022, 3:02 a.m.

Thank you Sada!! For this wonderfully, tasteful, filling recipe! It definitely gave my boring oatmeal a spin on taste and color! I’m employed at the hospital and during my 10pm-6am shift, I’ll have some already prepared in a mason jar and I’m energized throughout the night! Can you please add more oatmeal ideas.

Thank you 🙏
Jeanette 🙂

PUL Team – Jan. 9, 2022, 7:14 a.m.

Oh, Jeanette, thank YOU for all that you do! We’ll note down the suggestion. In the meantime, you can find all of our oatmeal recipes here: pickuplimes.com/recipe/?sb=oa… 😊

Charlotte – Jan. 5, 2022, 7:44 p.m.

I loved the colour and how fruity this oatmeal was. There were so many delicious blueberries!! Plus the tasty yogurt and nut butter complimented it so well. Will definitely be making this again soon!

We appreciate the glowing review so much, Charlotte, thank you!

Laura P – Jan. 5, 2022, 3:43 p.m.

Oooooooh, now THIS is my new favourite oatmeal (for now). I was having your strawberry overnight oats for quite some time until I made this blue-blue blueberry oatmeal. Yummylicious! And the colour is so inviting. Thank you so much for creating delicious, affordable, and simple recipes. When I converted to a vegan ‘lifestyle’ I began with your recipes. Two years later and I continue to use your recipes (and I especially appreciate your website– reader-friendly, ease of use without having to scroll through tons of pages to get to the actual recipe…luv luv luv). Cheers to you and family for 2022.

PUL Team – Jan. 6, 2022, 5:21 a.m.

We’re smiling from ear to ear, Laura – thank you for taking the time to share the very kind words! We’re so honoured the PUL content is being enjoyed and thank you for helping make our PUL community so special ✨

Robert – Jan. 5, 2022, 9:44 a.m.

I tastes very good, but it is a bit to rich for me.

Dan – Jan. 3, 2022, 9:46 p.m.

This is sooo good and so easy to make! It keeps me full for hours and my 18mo son loves picking off the toppings and eating them too. 🙂

I was dubious about the yogurt topping, but you were 100% right it’s amazing and to anyone reading this review you’ve got to try it. The taste combination is really what makes this dish.

PUL Team – Jan. 4, 2022, 5 p.m.

Aw we’re so glad it was enjoyed by you and your little one, Dan!

Celina – Jan. 2, 2022, 6:42 p.m.

This is so delicious! The combination of flavors and the right amount of sweetness is the perfect way to start my day. I love the flavor combination of blueberries with almond butter it’s divine 😍. This really reminded me of a blueberry muffin.

PUL Team – Jan. 2, 2022, 7:01 p.m.

Oh, Celina, so lovely to hear! Thank you sharing 🌻

Mathavi Sahadevan – Dec. 29, 2021, 4:32 p.m.

Louise Magnusson🇸🇪 – Dec. 28, 2021, 1:42 p.m.

Marvellous oatmeal: a warm filling hug packed with flavour😋 I agree completely with your comment in the video to use wild blueberries, it’s amazing (lucky to have Nordic bilberries that’s nutritious and more dense in colour🤩). Vanilla and blueberries are an interesting flavour combination. I loved this oatmeal with more banana and bilberries, cinnamon, chopped pecans, and Greek yoghurt for topping. I was a bit afraid that banana and maple syrup would be too sweet, but it worked very well👏🏼 The only disadvantage with these new oatmeal recipes is ground flaxseeds or chia seeds. It’s not necessary, as the porridge will thicken perfectly well on its own. That’s the whole purpose to have warm oatmeal. I’ve tried one of the oatmeals with chia seeds and it turned into a lump. Naturally, I had to add a lot more beverage to loosen 🤯. To summarise, it was a lovely breakfast!!

PUL Team – Dec. 28, 2021, 6:53 p.m.

Hi Louise, we appreciate the time you took to share your experience with the oatmeal so much! It’s so valuable to help us improve. Aside from the thickening, we enjoy the boost of healthy fats that the ground seeds provide. Feel free to omit these ones if desired though! We’ve noted down the feedback for future content and are glad the oatmeal was still enjoyed 😃

Sarah – Dec. 27, 2021, 6:06 p.m.

I am always up for new oatmeal recipes. So when I saw this recipe, I had to give it a try. It was delicious! It was perfectly sweet and had amazing flavor. Plus, my kitchen smelled incredible. I used oat milk instead of almond since that is what I had on hand. I got through three-quarters of the dish before I was full. I couldn’t finish it. Thank you for the recipe.

PUL Team – Dec. 28, 2021, 2:21 a.m.

Hi Sarah! We’re so thrilled the oatmeal was enjoyed. Thank you for the kind words 😃

Ashley – Dec. 26, 2021, 7:37 p.m.

Made this the same day I saw the recipe come online and my husband and I absolutely loved it! I normally do not care for oatmeal, but am always giving it a try. This recipe is going to be how I do it from now on. Plus, the color is so beautiful, it makes you excited to eat it 😀

PS thank you for always including measurement by weight. I just sat my pot on my scale, poured in all the ingredients, and didn’t have to dirty a single measuring tool.

PUL Team – Dec. 26, 2021, 8:33 p.m.

Aw thank you for the glowing review, Ashley, it means so much! We’re so glad the oatmeal and website feature are being enjoyed ✨

Adelaide – Dec. 24, 2021, 4:34 p.m.
